Dr. Lowe-Thomas received her psychology training from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Over the past 13 years in community mental health and in private practice, she gained extensive clinical experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults, and couples from a broad range of ethnic identities, cultural practices, and national origins. She has had successful outcomes treating mental health conditions to support client’s goals. Dr. Lowe-Thomas draws upon traditional and evidenced-based therapies as well as mind-body-spirit and holistic practices.  She incorporates Family-based therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapies (CBT, Trauma Focused-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based therapies. Prior to her psychology training, she contributed to the business sector working in a similar capacity to improve human relations; collaborating and facilitating positive change in businesses, leaders, and associates through value identification, goal setting, and alignment of actions toward desired change.

Dr. Lowe-Thomas values her role as a daughter, sister, mother, wife, friend, colleague, life-long learner, and advocate for mental health.
